Hermanos Gutiérrez is a two-piece band formed of the brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez. 
Taking influence from 1950's Latin America Sound they transfer the listeners to journeys through beautiful landscapes."When we were children, our grandfather, Luis "Don Lucho" Gutiérrez, used to tell us about his favourite song: “Nuestro Juramento”. This song was sung by an Ecuadorian artist in the 50s, Julio Jaramillo, and featured Rosalino Quintero on the guitar. Our grandfather used to describe this song  with so much love and nostalgia, and it were these moments with him which paved the way for how we listen and play our music today". After two albums recorded in Berlin, “8 Años” (2017) and “El Camino de mi Alma” (2018), they continued the path with “Hoy como Ayer” (2019) , “Hijos del Sol” (2020) and the singles "Esperanza" (2021) & "Amor profundo" (2021)

Czech bandleader, conductor, saxophone and clarinet player, occasional vocalist.
Born May 22, 1921, in Veľké Leváre (Slovakia), died September 25, 1995, in Brno (Czech Republic). Brom led his orchestra since 1940 until his death.
During the WWII Gustav Frkal began to use the pseudonym “Gustav Brom” in order to stay unrecognized by the German Nazi regime. After the war in 1945 he changed his surname to Brom officially and permanently.

Incredible funk from the Estonian scene of the 70s – grooves so rare, the Iron Curtain kept them locked away from most of the Western world! This excellent collection finally brings these gems to light – and showcases not only Jaan Kuman's tight talent for lead trumpet solos – on a par with some of the best Freddie Hubbard CTI work of the 70s – but also his wonderful ear for larger arrangements – jazz backdrops that mix acoustic and electric elements beautifully, often with a sense of soul and sentiment that's completely sublime! There's slight echoes of European soundtrack modes in the music – but the overall presentation is definitely jazz, and the tight work of the leader and other players make the tunes plenty damn funky throughout – like a lost MPS gem from the glory days.
