Rusty Bryant, Bill Mason, Leon Spencer, Wilbert Longmire and Idris Muhammad recorded yet another fine album for Prestige epitomized by the swinging funkiness of the title track. Each member gets to showcase his talents on the song, including a great open drum solo/drum break by Muhammad towards the end. One of the best songs I’ve heard recently. Mister S is a mellower soul-jazz number that features yet another Muhammad drum break. The other songs tend towards bluesy jazz.
