A tight little salsa combo with a nice jazzy edge -- led by trumpeter Carmelo Rivera, and featuring vocals by Nelson De Jesus, Cheo Feliciano, and Salvador Tirado. The sound's got some nice rootsy touches -- with a bit of bajo and percussion on the best numbers, and an overall feel that's got one foot in the 70s New York scene, and one ear cocked back towards Afro-Cuban traditions.
