The set's not the straight Latin jazz or exotica that you'd expect from the title and cover although it's certainly got plenty of that going on as well as Tino mixes in a variety of rhythmic modes, sometimes even vocalizes, and really makes the most of a hip small combo that also includes saxes from Cuco Valtierra, trumpet from Mario Contreras, and piano from Al Zuniga.
